Friday April 26th Announcements

Track and Field Sign up Room 102

1. The CavUnity food drive is well underway and the first collection of donations is today. Donations are to be dropped off in your Monday period 4 class to be tallied when collected. There is a teachers team we encourage teachers and staff to participate. The winning class/team will receive Tim Hortons. All donations collected will be donated to the Out of the Cold community association. Please see posters around the school for more information. We thank you for your support.

2. There is a bake sale today hosted by the Green Team.  Lots of goodies will be for sale and you will be supporting a good cause.


3. Did you attend the women in politics seminar? Are you interested in provincial or municipal politics? Are you interested in seeing the inter workings of legislature? CavUnity is hosting a field trip to province house and city hall in Halifax on Monday May 27. If you’re interested in attending this field trip please join us at our information session on Monday April 29 at lunch in Ms. Munros classroom (room 103). We hope to see you there!


4. There will be a girls and boys Softball meeting in room 102 at lunch

5. Attention: any students interested in participating in Track and Field this Spring, please sign up for events outside of room 102.

Your Youth Health Centre (YHC) supports you in making decisions about your health and well being, in a safe environment. The YHC is a partnership between the Halifax Regional School Board and Capital Health. It is staffed by a Public Health professional known as a Youth Health Centre Coordinator.
