Semi-formal and Olympic Torch Relay - Posted January 12
CHDHS' Semi-Formal on December 16th was a great success! Thanks to everyone that participated.
Student Council President Collette Robert ran with the Olympic Torch on November 18th, and the Torch will be displayed at the school until graduation. Congratulations!
Bust a Move - Posted January 12
Student council is currently involved in a fundraiser called "Bust A Move" for Breast Cancer. Please come out on January 30th, 2010 to support Student Council while they participate in the six hour intense work out at the Metro Centre to help raise money! Every Student Council member must raise a minimum of two hundred dollars each to participate. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. The Amazing Race Fundraiser - Posted January 12
In the upcoming Spring, Student Council and Best Buy's "View Point Committee" will be hosting an event called "The Amazing Race." Participants will be students of Cole Harbour District High School. The main cause of this event is to get all of the surrounding communities to work together, through a series of challenges. Prizes will consist of donated product from Best Buy. Bounce 101.3 Free Dance! - Posted January 12
CONGRATULATIONS! Thanks to all of the students that participated in the Food Drive. CHDHS won the free dance from 101.3 The Bounce for bringing in the most food for the Food Drive. The free dance will be on February 11th at 7:00PM until 10:00PM. Admission is one non-perishable food item. A truck will be coming on the night of the dance to collect all of the non-perishable food items. Thanks again to everyone that participated! Great job!
